• Near or in retirees demanding capital preservation with sustainable income
• Those accumulating assets and desiring a more engaged advisory relationship
• Business owners looking for investment management as well as estate and wealth management services for their Opco and Holdco

Often the families I serve have more than one of these needs.

Prior to creating BInvested in 2014, I spent 7 years with bank owned investment firms.  BInvested continues my leadership as a small business owner.   I had previously started Infofile Systems Inc. which quickly became a trusted supplier to Golden Horseshoe businesses for over 13 years culminating in its successful sale in 2005.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) and a Financial Management Advisor (FMA), I bring professional retirement income planning and investment services to my clients.  I am licensed with CIRO in Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec and Nova Scotia.

For those wishing views on “cash-flow” investing, I have published, an eBook “Dividends Rule”, 3rd edition (2021-11), to concisely convey how and why dividends should be at the core of any portfolio.

I served as Chair of the Board of Directors for the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital (Grimsby) and as President of the Burlington Lakeshore Rotary Club, including Chair Publicity for Canada’s Largest Ribfest.

My wife, Jennifer, and I reside in Fonthill and recently celebrated our 42nd anniversary. We are excited to be active members of the "Young Grandparents Club" thanks to our Grandchildren, Ryder and Victoria.  For fun, I play guitar/keyboards/bass with musical colleagues and am the former keyboard player for Elephants & Stars.  Additionally I also continue to play hockey in the Grimsby Old-timers league and play in tournaments with the "Legends" hockey team.
